Gratitude To Local Sponsors
Sharing a Meal would like to take a moment to thank our local donors and sponsors. As we reflect over the years and see the list of local business owners who have thought of us for a donation to help keep food on our shelves and our doors open for those in need. We want to share that gratitude with the community. We would also like to thank those businesses who have donated space and allowed us to run meetings, sell raffle tickets and promote our cause at their business locations to help our teams organize and spread the word for Sharing a Meal.
Sharing A Meal - Sayville Soup Kitchen is 100% volunteer operated and donation funded. Our volunteers work very hard year round to cook meals for 30-40 guests at a time, clean and maintain the facility, setup and breakdown for service, create fundraising events, shop for food, maintain website and social media, deliver food and everything in between. There are also many unseen expenses including insurance, rent, utilities and maintenance to ensure a safe and healthy work space for our guests and volunteers. Monthly sponsorship of even $5-$10 per month go a long way to feed our friends in need and for those who help us to help the community we are eternally grateful.
